- McWhirter Realty and Cobb Habitat for Humanity began construction on McWhirter's "25th Anniversary House" on April 22, 2006. More than 40 volunteers came out in the rain to participate in this rewarding endeavor. (Click on headline to view photos.)
Construction will continue each weekend (except Memorial Day and 4th of July weekends) with completion projected for late July 2006. We will post weekly photos of our progress.
- McWhirter Supports "Christmas in April"!

- Dan Buyers, Vice-President of Land Brokerage continues to excel in community service with his involvement in Leadership Cobb, the Wellstar Foundation and the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors' "Christmas in April" project. Dan was this year's "House Captain" for the renovation of two homes located in southwest Atlanta - near the Atlanta University Center.
Rebuilding Together - Atlanta is a volunteer organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the houses of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and disabled, so that they may continue to live independently in a safe and comfortable home.
Other McWhirter Realty team members included Justin Parsonnet, Chip Mack, Peyton McWhirter, and Barry McWhirter. And our "Realtors-To-Be", Greer McWhirter and Gray McWhirter pitched in too!
