The Self Storage Division, directed by J. L. "Chip" Mack, III, Division President, was created in 1997 to complement the Company's years of experience in self storage, brokerage, and development. This Division provides acquisition services to institutional owners of self storage throughout the continental United States, as well as disposition services to owners of self storage facilities throughout the continental United States. These services include detailed market studies of self storage properties and competitive project financial analysis.
The Company develops for its own account multi-story, air-conditioned, and heated storage facilities located in high income demographic areas. The Company pioneered the multi-story concept in 1989 with its Dunwoody Place Self Storage project located in North Atlanta. The Company will consider projects and markets with a minimum of one million people throughout the Southeastern United States.
